Industrial construction continues to thrive as vacancy hits 17-year low

  • The overall industrial construction pipeline continues to grow, up 29 percent from Q4 2016. The top markets by square foot under construction make up 48.3% of the national pipeline (206.7 m.s.f.)
  • New construction demand being driven by both an increase in build-to-suit projects and national vacancy holding at 5.3%, the lowest point in 17 years
