As competition for students heats up, universities are spending on new campus construction

  • Universities face cost pressures and public funding is declining for R&D space. Universities are focused on increasing efficiencies while providing the needed space upgrades.
  • Universities are building out classrooms with hoteling stations and open space plans, with a goal of keeping students on campus by increasing their engagement with campus amenities.
