What's your cool new office space going to cost you?

November 28, 2017
•Tech office space tenants can expect to pay nearly $30 per square foot less than a comparable traditional office suite.
•However, while tech tenants typically save on physical construction (hard costs), they traditionally spend more on audio/visual equipment, extra perks and technology amenities.
•Additionally, traditional workspaces tend to have a higher density of private offices compared to tech spaces, which tend to favor common areas and collaboration spaces. This minimizes the amount of physical materials that need to be purchased and installed, cutting out over $20 per square foot.

Read about all this, and tech office fit outs in greater detail in JLL’s Fall 2017 Tech Office Trends report.
