When the University Club of Chicago decided to embark on an ambitious expansion of its historic facilities, they turned to JLL to build on top of their vintage 1890 structure. We led value engineering efforts at each phase of the project to ensure the budget was not exceeded. As a result, the new and expanded space seamlessly blends with the historic architecture of the original clubhouse, yet has a contemporary feel.
