Accommodating for growth while achieving right culture balance

June 20, 2016 Laura McDaniel

Smarsh, Inc., a leading provider of archiving and compliance solutions, decided to relocate its headquarters to a new, more spacious 47,640-square-foot space in Portland, Oregon that better reflected its culture, as well as accommodated for anticipated growth. JLL’s project management team was engaged to not only decommission Smarsh’s previous space, but to also provide tenant improvement oversight and move management for the new space. Working closely together, JLL helped Smarsh transition to a benching versus traditional workspace and implemented custom décor that tied directly to the Smarsh brand. By the end of the project, JLL’s services paid for themselves, achieving 100 percent return on investment.
