Award-winning parking structure coordinates charm with JLL-designed City Hall

March 10, 2017 Sanjana Saluja

With a new City Hall structure already in place, the City of Alpharetta, Georgia wanted to create a parking deck that would coordinate aesthetically with the new building, maintaining the charm that so many Southern historic municipal buildings possess. Because JLL had successfully managed the construction of the new City Hall in Alpharetta’s new City Center, it was only natural that they turned to JLL to manage the design and construction for this next step – the Alpharetta City Center Parking Deck, a five-story, precast concrete public parking structure that serves both Alpharetta’s City Hall as well as surrounding facilities. The 121,959 square-foot building not only gave the City of Alpharetta a 100 percent Return on Investment, but the new parking deck won an award from the Georgia Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) for “creative, innovative, aesthetic and imaginative uses of concrete.”
