Bringing enterprising nonprofit technology space to life

When New World Ventures and the Chicago Entrepreneurial Center (CEC) came up with the idea for a not-for-profit space where technology designers, engineers and internet start-ups could come together to develop their up-and-coming businesses, JLL’s PDS team was brought onboard to manage the design and construction and bring the space to life. 

Upfront planning and collaboration helped to deliver a revolutionary and dynamic space, focused on encouraging creative thinking and sharing of ideas—all within the client’s desired timeline and budget.

1871 was recently named the top university-affiliated business incubator in the U.S. by UBI Global.
