Designing a space to reflect an entrepreneurial philosophy

July 12, 2016 Laura McDaniel

Indiegogo experienced explosive growth in 2013, overwhelming both a warehouse office as well as a temporary annex. The San Francisco-based crowd-funding company sought JLL’s expertise in designing a new space that would grow with them and would also reflect the company’s entrepreneurial philosophy. JLL helped Indiegogo secure space inside a unique historic building – a full-floor suite that featured exposed brick and 360-degree views of San Francisco’s South of Market district. The new office provides employees with a café-like setting, as well as custom workstations, greenery and bike racks on office walls, encouraging employees to bike to work. JLL ultimately helped Indiegogo fulfill their vision of a creative and collaborative workplace, and with JLL as Indiegogo’s construction expert and advocate, our team saved the company $75,000 in construction costs.
