Headquarters relocation with a 200 percent ROI

March 31, 2017 Sanjana Saluja

With a clear vision to relocate company headquarters, Yakima purchased a building in Lake Oswego, Oregon that needed extensive renovations and remodeling in a condensed and strict 14-week timeframe. JLL worked closely with the architect and general contractor to translate the vision of the company’s CEO into a modern headquarters with employee meeting rooms, social areas and breakout zones. The new space opened on time and under budget to great employee reception. Not only did Yakima maintain operational effectiveness throughout the renovations, the company also acquired a 200 percent return on investment.

“JLL and specifically our Project Manager (Kevin) did a fantastic job meeting the enormous demands of our renovation schedule. Without their support, it would have been very challenging to relocate our business and maintain our operational effectiveness while delivering against our aggressive timeline. Their insights on the front end and execution during the project were instrumental in our success.”

– Ryan Martin, CEO, Yakima Products, Inc.
