Last minute creative solutions lead to much needed facelift for Lyft

One week before construction was slated to begin, transportation network company Lyft decided to slash its project budget in order to keep hard costs within its tenant improvement allowance. In response, JLL’s project team drastically reduced the project’s scope, focusing spend instead on key areas such as the all-hands cafe and reception areas. Adhering to a compressed 10-week schedule, JLL implemented creative value engineering solutions, which ultimately saved the client more than $2 million.
