Overcoming global obstacles

When General Motors (GM) decided to establish its first Asia shared services facility in Manila, which was also its first major office in the Philippines, JLL was brought on as project manager and construction manager for the 2,760-square-meter space. With GM operating globally and stakeholders located in different parts of the world, a higher level of coordination and connectivity was required, but that didn’t deter JLL. The project was successfully completed two weeks ahead of schedule with 11% savings achieved, exceeding GM’s expectations.
