Unlocking a building’s full potential

April 6, 2018 Sanjana Saluja

Private real estate firm Somerset Partners wanted to reposition 1801 K Street in Washington, DC from a Class B to Class A trophy office building. Driven by their ambition, we worked seamlessly across our platform to successfully deliver the $100 million asset renovation, which included two new lobbies, an impressive light sculpture by LED artist Leo Villareal and a new exterior façade equipped with an energy-efficient all-glass curtain wall. Not only did we help Somerset Partners secure its coveted LEED Gold certification, but we ultimately helped the firm maximize the return on its investment in 1801 K by unlocking the full potential of the building’s site and amenities.
