When it comes to the store-within-a-store concept, everyone wins

May 26, 2015

Let's face it - competition for the consumer dollar remains fierce for today's retailer. Attention spans are short and time is of the essence. The cost of doing business has grown, with rents increasing 1.2 percent over the first quarter of 2014 alone. And with online shopping continually on the rise, many brick-and-mortar retailers feel like they'€™re fighting a losing battle. To combat this, smart retailers like Best Buy, JCPenney, and Macy'€™s, are focusing more and more on the customer experience by building spaces that offer a more unique and diverse environment for customers. One of the ways to deliver this experience is through the store-within-a-store concept. With the store-within-a-store concept, everyone wins.
